Frequently Asked Questions

How is my data stored? Is it private?

All your journal entries, photos, audio, and attachments are stored on your device and synced via your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to your data — no third-party servers, no tracking.

Does Picnic Moment work without iCloud?

Yes. The app works fully offline and stores data locally on your device. iCloud sync is optional and used solely to back up and sync your entries across your Apple devices.

How do I enable iCloud sync?

Go to Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud and make sure Picnic Moment is toggled on.

Why is the app asking for Health / Location / Music access?

These permissions power specific features — health data for activity trends, location for weather and place context, and Music to log what you're listening to. All permissions are optional and can be managed in Settings → Privacy & Security.

Can I export my journal entries?

Yes. You can export individual entries or your full journal from within the app.

I lost my entries after reinstalling — how do I restore them?

Your entries are backed up in iCloud. After reinstalling, open the app and sign in to the same iCloud account. Your data will restore automatically. If it doesn't appear immediately, please wait a few minutes for the sync to complete.

The app is crashing or behaving unexpectedly. What should I do?

Try the following steps:

  1. Force-quit the app and reopen it.
  2. Restart your iPhone.
  3. Make sure you're running the latest version of Picnic Moment and iOS.
  4. If the issue persists, please email us at [email protected] with a brief description of what happened and your iOS version.

为什么 App 请求健康 / 位置 / 音乐权限?

可以导出日记吗?

可以。您可以在 App 内导出单篇记录或全部日记。

重新安装后记录消失了,怎么恢复?

您的记录已备份在 iCloud 中。重新安装后,使用同一 iCloud 账号打开 App,数据会自动恢复。如未立即显示,请等待几分钟让同步完成。
